Jean & Pierre Bellin

Jean and Pierre Bellin’s jewellery is among the most collectible of its era — artistic, refined, and impeccably crafted. The French maison, celebrated across the Middle East and Asia, became synonymous with exclusivity; in the 20th century, clients often joined waiting lists for their creations.

Grandsons of the original 'JP Bellin' founder — who began his career at Cartier in the late 1800s — Jean and Pierre opened their first atelier at 16 rue de la Grange-Batelière in Paris in the early 1900s. Their exceptional talent for designing bold, complex pieces quickly earned them recognition in the world of haute joaillerie.

Though they achieved great success in France, much of their clientele came from abroad, drawn to the maison’s distinctive style. Their aesthetic was defined by vibrant stones such as emerald and rock crystal, materials that demanded masterful precision in cutting. Inspired by the geometric elegance of Art Deco and enriched by touches of Baroque opulence, their work embodied both modernity and grandeur.

Today, Jean & Pierre Bellin’s creations remain highly sought after, treasured by expert jewellers and collectors at international auctions
